Library Halloween Fun

We had a blast celebrating Halloween at the library! Storytimes, library trick-or-treating, dress up and Lurking Luminary-making made for a very fun week!

REEC Nature Walk

Thank you to the Regional Environmental Education Center for their September visit. There was 30 minutes of sunshine that day, and it occurred during our walk! Great nature journal making too!

Ronald McDonald Visit '09

Thank you to the McDonald's Corporation for their generosity and providing us a Ronald McDonald visit for the second year in a row. Lots of laughter and fun was had by all in attendance!

Between A Rock and a Hard Place Puppet Show

Karen Hathaway and Ing Kalchthaler (both from Shaler North Hills Library) brought their wonderful puppet show to the Brentwood Library for the second year in a row. This year's production, "Between A Rock and a Hard Place" focused on a pebble named Cole with a message of how to be true to yourself and find your own place in the world.

Music & Dance from the 7 Continents

A HUGE thank you to the Stofesky family from Brentwood who presented a wonderful program on cultural dance (complete with costumes, demonstrations and audience participation!). We can't thank you enough!

Science In The Summer 2009

Thanks to the generosity of GlaxoSmithKlein and the Carnegie Science Center, lots of fun and learning was had by all as the "Science in the Summer" Physical Science & Electricity program was brought to the Brentwood Library July 20-23.

Wonderful Webkinz!

Wow! Webkinz are surely wonderful! Everyone had a great time with furniture making, the Wheel of Wow, Webkinz trivia, tag making and beading!
